Established in 2014, Sloe Train is a classic five-piece band playing driving original blues-infused tunes. Recording and releasing their first album in 2017, the band have become veterans of the national blues circuit, performing at a variety of festivals and venues throughout the UK.

Founded by singer Peter Carlisle, drummer Chris McCormack, and keys player Chris Burrows due to a mutual love of Joe Bonamassa (from whom the band takes it name), the band was joined by bassist Tony Ecclestone in 2018. The lineup was then cemented in March 2025 with the addition of András Droppa, Dr Wart Hoover’s Blues Artist of the Year 2024.
